Four days, one after another

Pickup is at 10:00, with a welcome drink on board and sailing at 10:30. The days then run in this order. Day one: Rangko Cave, Burung Island and the Kanawa sunset. The order of the evening is the same for the first three days: dinner, then free time on board. On the last day the boat is back in Labuan Bajo in the late morning. Book flights after 14:00.

Inside each day the captain chooses the order, and weather can change the plan. This is a private route, sailed as a whole-boat charter.

Tide and wind set the order of these stops: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.

These times are for planning. The pickup hour is the only fixed one.

Rangko Cave, Burung and a Kanawa sunset on day one

Rangko Cave, then Burung Island, then the sunset at Kanawa: that is the first day of the 4D3N. No other length begins here.

Rangko Cave is a walk, lunch follows, then Burung Island and a snack, and Kanawa is the sunset stop of day 1. Dinner follows the sunset.

Guests who fly in on the morning of the pickup should tell us the flight number, so that we can plan the pickup around it. Arriving the day before is simpler.

The captain can move the sunset stop with the weather.

The extra day, and what it brings

The extra day is what separates the 4D3N from the 3D2N. It adds Rangko Cave, Burung Island, Kanawa and Strawberry Rock. It also splits the busiest day of the 3D2N in two: Manta Point, Taka Makassar and the Komodo trek on day two, Padar and Pink Beach on day three.

At first light on day two comes Siaba, before breakfast, then Manta Point, lunch on board, Taka Makassar and the Komodo walk, then dinner.

Day three climbs Strawberry Rock on the way to the sunset at Kalong, after Padar and Pink Beach. Day four is Kelor, breakfast, Manjarite, an early lunch and the harbour. The map and the legs table show the line of all four days.

The price of four days for your party

The whole boat for four days costs IDR 67,000,000 (≈ USD 4,110) for up to 10 guests. Each guest beyond 10 adds IDR 3,500,000 (≈ USD 215). Eight guests pay IDR 8,380,000 (≈ USD 514) each. Sixteen pay IDR 67,000,000 (≈ USD 4,110) + 6 × IDR 3,500,000 (≈ USD 215) = IDR 88,000,000 (≈ USD 5,399), or IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) each. Twenty pay IDR 102,000,000 (≈ USD 6,258), which is IDR 5,100,000 (≈ USD 313) each.

Fare, in short: pickup and drop-off in Labuan Bajo, the cabins, three meals a day, the chef and boat crew, snacks, drinks and snorkelling gear. Park tickets, the guide and the photo documentation are not in it; the last two are quoted separately, on request.

For park tickets, allow IDR 250,000 per international visitor, issued online in each guest's name, plus ranger and pier charges.

Four days against three: a short comparison

Four days against three comes down to pace and price. For 10 guests the 4D3N is IDR 67,000,000 (≈ USD 4,110) and the 3D2N is IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558). The fourth day buys four more named stops.

Choose three days if your flight is early, your party is small or the budget is fixed. Choose four if you want Rangko Cave and Kanawa, and Padar and Pink Beach on a day of their own. The guide on choosing between the two works the arithmetic at 8, 12 and 16 guests.

The lists below show what the fare includes and what stays with you. Both lengths carry the same inclusions: the cabins, the chef and boat crew, three meals a day, mineral water, coffee, tea and snacks, and snorkelling gear. On both, the guide and the photo documentation are quoted separately and park tickets are bought by each guest.

FAQ

Is the 4-day route available as an open trip?

No. The 4D3N is a private charter of the whole boat. The open trip runs the 3D2N only, on Mondays and Fridays. For four days, price your party in the table on the charter page.

Which stops does 4D3N add to the 3-day route?

Rangko Cave, Burung Island, the sunset at Kanawa and the Strawberry Rock trek. The 3D2N already carries Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong, Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Siaba, though the 4D3N sets them in a different order.

Where does the boat spend each night?

The captain decides on the day, from the weather and the sea. Each of the first three days closes with dinner and free time on board.

What does 4D3N cost for 16 guests?

The whole boat comes to IDR 67,000,000 (≈ USD 4,110) + 6 × IDR 3,500,000 (≈ USD 215) = IDR 88,000,000 (≈ USD 5,399), which is IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) each. Park tickets, the guide and the photo documentation are outside the fare.

Where does the trip finish on day four?

Back in Labuan Bajo in the late morning. Book flights after 14:00. The last morning is short and the sea sets its pace, so leave that margin.
