The stops Maheswari sails to, and the routes that reach them
Updated 20 October 2026
Maheswari's routes reach eight stops that have a page here: Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo, Manta Point, Taka Makassar, Kalong, Kelor and Kanawa. Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo are on all four lengths. The captain sets the stop order.
Eight stops, and the routes that reach them
Each stop below has its own page. Eight of them are on Maheswari's routes.
A route is a list of stops in a set order, and the itinerary can change with the weather. The captain decides the order on the day. Read the order on each page as the plan, not as a timetable.
Five stops on the routes have no page here: Siaba, Manjarite, Burung Island, Rangko Cave and Strawberry Rock. They appear in the route descriptions and on the itinerary pages.
Which length reaches which stop
Four lengths of trip are sailed. Each reaches a different part of the park, and the list below sets them side by side.
- Full day: Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo, then back to Labuan Bajo the same day.
- 2D1N: Kelor, Manjarite and sunset at Kalong on day 1, then Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo on day 2.
- 3D2N: the same first day, then Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo, Taka Makassar and Manta Point on day 2, and a snorkel at Siaba on day 3.
- 4D3N: Rangko Cave, Burung Island and sunset at Kanawa; then Siaba, Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Komodo; then Padar, Pink Beach, Strawberry Rock and sunset at Kalong; then Kelor and Manjarite.
Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo are on every length, and that is why the full day is a fair sample of the park. Manta Point and Taka Makassar need the 3D2N or the 4D3N, and Kanawa needs the 4D3N.
Choose a stop
The grid below shows each stop with the routes that reach it. Open the one you care about most and read which day it falls on, then pick the length of trip around it.
If two stops matter, check whether they share a day. Padar and Pink Beach do on every route, while Kalong's sunset and Padar's sunrise never share a day on the shorter routes. Tell us the stop that matters most, and we write it into your booking notes. The captain's decision at sea stands. Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo form the spine of every length. The other stops hang from it, and each page says on which day a stop arrives.
- Padar Island: the climb to three bays, as Maheswari sails it
- Pink Beach: a snorkel over the reef, then the sand
- Komodo Island: the ranger-guided walk
- Manta Point: a drift snorkel for confident swimmers
- Taka Makassar: a sandbar that appears with the tide
- Kalong Island at sunset, and the flying foxes
- Kelor Island: a short steep hill, first or last
- Kanawa Island: the first sunset of the four-day route
FAQ
Can I choose the stops?
You choose the length of trip, and each length has its own list of stops. You can tell us which stop matters most, and we note it with your booking. The captain sets the order on the day, and a different list of stops is a request we take to the boat.
Which stops need a park ticket?
The park ticket is per visitor per day and is bought online in the visitor's own name. Komodo and Padar are park stops. We mark the other park days of your route with your booking.
What does the captain decide?
The order of the stops on the day, the route when the weather changes, and where the boat spends each night. If the weather changes the route on the day, that change costs you nothing extra.
Which stops are on every length?
Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo. They are on the full day, the 2D1N, the 3D2N and the 4D3N. Kalong and Kelor are on every length except the full day. Kalong and Kelor are not on the full day.
