Komodo in three days: Padar, Pink Beach and Manta Point, privately
Updated 20 October 2026
On Maheswari, the 3D2N is the route both the charter and the open trip follow: Kelor and Kalong, then Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo, Taka Makassar and Manta Point, then a snorkel at Siaba. A private charter costs IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558) for up to 10 guests; ten guests pay IDR 5,800,000 (≈ USD 356) each.
Three days, set out in sequence
A car collects you at 10:00 from your hotel or the airport, a welcome drink waits on board, and Maheswari sails at 10:30. By the end of the first afternoon you have walked Kelor, snorkelled at Manjarite and watched the sunset from Kalong.
Dinner is served after that sunset, and the evening is yours. Day two starts with the Padar trek, before breakfast; Pink Beach comes next, then the Komodo trek and lunch, then Taka Makassar and Manta Point, then dinner.
The third day begins at Siaba with a snorkel, followed by breakfast and an early lunch. You are back in Labuan Bajo in the late morning.
That is the order of the days. Weather can rearrange it, and the captain has the final word.

Tide and wind set the order of these stops: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.
These times are for planning. The pickup hour is the only fixed one.
Day two, from the first light to Manta Point
Day two is the full one. It opens on Padar at first light, with the trek before breakfast. After Pink Beach and the Komodo trek come lunch and a snorkel at Taka Makassar, then a snack, a snorkel at Manta Point, and last of all dinner.
The legs table shows each stop and the planning range for the sail between them. A short leg on a calm day can be a long one in the wind, and the captain judges which it is.
Manta Point is a snorkel stop on the route, and the mantas keep their own hours. The captain decides on the day when to put you in the water.

The last morning at Siaba, and the road to the airport
The last morning is short. It is a snorkel at Siaba, then breakfast, then an early lunch on board, and the harbour afterwards.
On the map you can follow the last leg. In the late morning the boat is back in Labuan Bajo. Book flights after 14:00 and the morning will not feel like a race.
For a guest flying at 13:00 or earlier, a different arrangement is needed. Give the flight number when you write, and we plan around it.

What the sea and the park rangers settle
Two things settle the plan on the day: the sea and the captain. Wind and swell can move a stop or swap the walks around.
A third thing is the park. Each guest needs a Komodo National Park ticket in their own name, bought online: IDR 250,000 for international visitors and IDR 50,000 for Indonesian visitors on weekdays. KEXI's park package covers the government entrance ticket (PP 36/2024), the ranger and the local levies, paid on top of the boat price unless your quote says it is included.
The captain decides on the day where the boat lies each night, from the weather. Both evenings close with dinner and free time on board.
The price of three days for your party
Priced whole, three days cost IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558) for up to 10 guests. Each guest beyond 10 adds IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153). Twelve guests pay IDR 63,000,000 (≈ USD 3,865), which is IDR 5,250,000 (≈ USD 322) each; sixteen pay IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479), or IDR 4,560,000 (≈ USD 280) each.
In the fare you have pickup and drop-off in Labuan Bajo, the boat and its air-conditioned cabins, and the chef and boat crew. Three meals a day, mineral water, snacks, coffee, tea, snorkelling gear, life jackets and the tender are in it as well. The lists below repeat this, with the exclusions.
Run on Mondays and Fridays, the open trip follows this same route one cabin at a time, and the seat prices are on the cabins page. On a charter, a guide and photo documentation are quoted separately, on request.

FAQ
How many days do I need for Padar and Pink Beach?
One day reaches them, two give them room. The full day visits Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo in one long day. The 2D1N reaches the same three on day two, after Kelor and Kalong on the first day. The 3D2N adds Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Siaba, and gives each stop a calmer pace.
Is Manta Point guaranteed?
The stop is on the route, and the mantas come and go with the season. The captain decides on the day, from the sea and the weather. Manta Point sits on day two of the 3D2N and on day two of the 4D3N.
Where does the boat spend the night?
That depends on the weather and on the captain's decision that day. Both evenings close with dinner and then free time on board.
What time do I reach the hotel on the last day?
The boat is back in Labuan Bajo in the late morning. Book flights after 14:00. Stops can shift with the sea, so give yourself that margin rather than a tight connection.
Is the open trip on the same route?
Yes. The open trip runs the 3D2N on Mondays and Fridays, with the same stops. It is sold by the cabin, so the deck is shared, and the seat is confirmed on WhatsApp.
