Maheswari is a deluxe phinisi, 30 m long and 6.5 m wide, with 8 cabins, an indoor dining room, a sun deck and a jacuzzi on deck. She cruises at 7 to 10 knots and sleeps up to 20 guests, with a crew of six aboard.
A 30 m deluxe phinisi, bow to stern
The Maheswari phinisi measures 30 m from bow to stern and 6.5 m across the beam. She cruises at 7 to 10 knots.
Her tanks hold 13 000 litres of fresh water and 8 000 litres of fuel. Two generators are aboard. A tender comes with her too, a 6 m fibreglass boat with a Yamaha 15 HP engine that takes you from the anchorage to the beach.
A note on speed: it is a cruising speed rather than a timetable. The captain sets the order of the stops on the day, from the sea and the weather.

From the lower deck up to the sun deck
Begin at the waterline. The two Superior cabins are on the lower deck, each with a queen bed, air conditioning and its own bathroom. Above them, on the main deck, are the two Signature Ocean cabins with private balconies. The upper deck holds the Deluxe Ocean and Master Ocean cabins, two of each, and Master Ocean has a balcony too.
Around the cabins are the rooms you will share as a party: a large outdoor area, a sun deck with lazy chairs, an indoor dining room and a jacuzzi on deck.
Bean bags and a Bluetooth sound system are aboard as well, out in the open air.

Sixteen beds, twenty with the extra beds
Eight cabins with a queen bed each hold 16 guests. That is the lower end of her capacity of 16 to 20.
Four more places come from extra beds. Only the four balcony cabins, two Signature Ocean and two Master Ocean, take one. With all four in use the boat sleeps 20, and that is the ceiling on every trip, the full day included.
Below, the plan shows how the cabins fill as the party grows. Up to 16 guests, everyone has a queen bed. At 18, two of the balcony cabins hold a third guest; at 20, all four do.
Children under 3 travel free and add no fare; from 3 they count as guests. Send their ages and we confirm the head count.

Dining room, outdoor area and jacuzzi
Meals are taken in the indoor dining room. For a party of 20, tell us how your party likes to eat, and the crew lays the room for it.
A large outdoor area carries the bean bags and the Bluetooth sound system. On a private charter it belongs to your party. On the open trip it belongs to everyone aboard, which is the main practical difference between the two.
A jacuzzi is on deck as well.
A sun deck with lazy chairs completes the set. Bring a hat and sunblock for the hours up there.
Safety, navigation and the tender
Safety gear aboard is a life raft, life jackets, a ring buoy, a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit. Navigation is AIS, radar, a compass and GPS. Communication is by SBB radio and VHF radio.
Snorkelling equipment comes with the fare, and so does the tender. Camera drones are a separate matter: national park rules apply, so ask us before you fly one.
Bring your own medicines. The first-aid kit is the boat's; personal medicines go on your bring list beside sunblock, sunglasses, a backpack and emergency cash.
A crew of 6 sails with the boat, with the chef and boat crew aboard on every trip.

Internet aboard, snorkelling, and the second name
Wi-Fi on board comes from the crew's mobile connection and works where the signal reaches; there is no satellite internet. Maheswari is a snorkelling boat, with snorkelling equipment in every fare and no dive compressor.
If your party needs something particular, a seat count at dinner or a quiet corner for a call, tell us when you book and we arrange it with the crew.
One more thing about the name: the operator's 2026 price list also gives her the name NOX. It is one boat, and we use Maheswari throughout.

Only local Wi-Fi from the crew's mobile connection. There is no satellite internet, so signal depends on where the boat is. Plan for messages, not video calls, and send us anything urgent before the pickup at 10:00.
