Maheswari Phinisi
A Komodo group charter for 14 to 20 friends
Updated 20 October 2026
For a Komodo group charter of 14 to 20 friends, Maheswari sleeps 16 on queen beds and 20 with four extra beds. Eighteen guests on the 3D2N pay IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558) + 8 × IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153) = IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785), which is IDR 4,330,000 (≈ USD 266) each.
Sixteen on queen beds, twenty with the extra beds
The boat sleeps 16 to 20, and the arithmetic behind it is short. Eight cabins with a queen bed hold 16 guests. Four of those cabins, the Signature Ocean and Master Ocean classes, take an extra bed, and 16 plus 4 is 20.
So a private phinisi charter for 16 to 18 guests uses all eight cabins, and the extra beds do the rest. The plan below shows each step: up to 16 guests, queen beds only; at 18, two balcony cabins hold a third guest; at 20, all four do.
Twenty is the ceiling on every trip, the full day included.
| Cabin | Rooms | Beds | Sleeps | with extra bed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Master Ocean Cabin | 2 | Queen bed + extra bed | 4 | 6 |
| Deluxe Ocean Cabin | 2 | Queen bed | 4 | 4 |
| Signature Ocean Cabin | 2 | Queen bed + extra bed | 4 | 6 |
| Superior Cabin | 2 | Queen bed | 4 | 4 |
| Berths in total | 8 | 16 | 20 |
Eighteen guests, priced step by step
Eighteen friends on the 3D2N pay IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558) + 8 × IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153) = IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785). Divided by 18, that is IDR 4,330,000 (≈ USD 266) each. The first 10 guests are covered by the base price. Each of the eight above pays IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153).
On the 4D3N the same party pays IDR 67,000,000 (≈ USD 4,110) + 8 × IDR 3,500,000 (≈ USD 215) = IDR 95,000,000 (≈ USD 5,828), or IDR 5,280,000 (≈ USD 324) each. At twenty guests the 3D2N is IDR 4,150,000 (≈ USD 255) each and the 4D3N IDR 5,100,000 (≈ USD 313).
The table gives every party size from 14 to 20 in one place. Find your number and read across. The full day is the exception: it is flat at IDR 40,000,000 (≈ USD 2,454) for any party up to 20, which is IDR 2,220,000 (≈ USD 136) each at eighteen.

The cabins that take a third guest
Only the four balcony cabins take a third guest: Signature Ocean on the main deck, and Master Ocean on the upper deck, two cabins of each. At 18 guests, two of those four hold three. At 20, all four do.
Superior and Deluxe Ocean take 2 and no more. Decide which friends take the extra beds before the dates are fixed, because the choice settles who has the balcony and who shares it. The cabins are allocated by us, and the sleeping plan is yours to tell us.
If a guest is tall, or the extra bed matters for another reason, tell us who will sleep in it and we plan the cabin around them.
Eighteen friends over four days
A friends' trip of 18 over four days is the longest plan we sail. Here is the order of the day for your party. At ten the cars collect everyone, the welcome drink is poured, and by half past you are under sail for Rangko Cave, Burung Island and the Kanawa sunset.
On day two the swimmers are in at Siaba before breakfast, then Manta Point, Taka Makassar and the Komodo walk. Day three belongs to the walkers: Padar, Pink Beach, Strawberry Rock and Kalong at dusk.
Each evening is dinner, then the deck, the bean bags and the sound system for eighteen of you and no one else.
Day four is Kelor, breakfast, Manjarite and an early lunch, with Labuan Bajo by late morning. The captain sets the order each day with the weather.
What a large party settles in advance
Settle four things before you send the deposit. Who sleeps with whom, and who takes the extra beds. Who pays: one person can pay the whole invoice, or each guest can pay a share, and separate invoices can be issued on request. The dates. The names, for the park tickets.
Settle two more with us. For 20 guests, tell us how you like to eat and the crew lays the dining room for it. Soft drinks and alcohol are yours to bring, so the party packs its own.
On a charter, a guide and photo documentation are quoted separately, on request. A deposit of 50% holds the date, and the balance follows 30 days before sailing.
